DECEMBER
Thursday, December 6 – PAHS Holiday Gala at the Aquarius Theatre, downtown Palo Alto
Back by popular demand, Palo Alto Humane Society’s Holiday Gala movie event, “Oh! For the Love of Critters!” once again comes to downtown Palo Alto. Join us at the Aquarius Theatre, on Thursday, December 6, at 7:00 for costumes, songs, community, and cavorting. Featuring one of the all-time favorite dog films, Lassie Come Home, our celebratory evening will be hosted by Emmy-nominated Hollywood producer Phil Giffin. This 1943 classic offers a great cast that includes Roddy McDowell and a very young Elizabeth Taylor.
Bagpipes, red carpet, and extra treats make this a must-attend event for all ages. Among our special guests are NorCal Collie Rescue, bagpiper Jeff Campbell, and the Mendicants. Come a little early to enjoy the bagpipes!
Call the PAHS office for reservations. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are a nostalgic $2.00. Don't miss this annual holiday party benefitting the animals helped by the Palo Alto Humane Society.
